"I have been involved with Sunday school for nearly five years.First four years I struggled to run Sunday school in an organized manner. It is always a chaos. First one is a registration, everyone wants to show up the last day with themselves and their kids, zero wait and wants their kids be sent to the class rightaway. Some would bypass registration all together and survive the whole school year that way. Second chaos is an ever changing class rosters, having to print new ones every saturday night only to find out at the end of sunday they are all out dated because of new enrollments. Then choas of recording grades. Lack of effective means to communicate grades to parents and homework. Then there are fees fights, parents don't know what they owe. No one heeds to general reminder email because everyone think they have paid all their fees. I looked for software out on the web, there a few but too complicated for something like Sunday schools. Public school ones are also very expensive. Sunweb addresed many of our challenges of managing Sunday schools. Parents can now register kids from the ease of their home online. We can track how the enrollments are going. We assign classes to kids registered before school opens and assign classes to teachers. Teachers have an advance notice of how the enrollments are going for their classes. Never I have to print the rosters again, it is all electronic. Teachers record grades on their own, take attendances and sent email to all parents from the software with one click. Parents login to monitor their kids grade and also track any fees balances. We can generate custom email reminder with kids names and fees balance to parents with positive balance from software automatically and the most important of all, all report cards can be printed with a click of one button. Many of us works as volunteers and every minute we can save in sunday school administration, we can put that towards other projects or spend time with our families.
